Job Description
Safety Representative 
New Albany, OH

Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct regular field safety inspections and/or more formal audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.  Must be able and willing to engage negative behavior and/or conditions to complete resolution.  
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. 
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that safety is a top priority on thesite. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activitiesentering the approved data software for advancing and /or data retention. 
  • Be capable of working with multiple subcontractors and their respective safety representatives. 
  • Ability to work extended work hours during the week and/or possibly weekend (over 40). 
Requirements: 
  • Minimum of (5) years of experience in construction safety. 
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
  • OSHA 510 & 30 - Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards. 
  • CHST certification is required. 
  • Experience with building data centers is a plus.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and more collaboratively, as part of a team. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant safety data analysis/retention software. 
  • Knowledge and experience working with lower tier subcontract documents and requirements thereof
