Job Information:
The Associate Engineer is responsible for gaining industry experience in Instrumentation Engineering through observation and practical hands-on opportunities in day-to-day operations with the Analytical Systems Solutions group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside a Project Engineer and become familiar with the weekly requirements of Project Management and Project Engineering.
- Gain practical knowledge of the tools required to meet weekly requirements of Project Management.
- Become familiar with the Project Phases from inception to completion.
- Put the Project Engineer knowledge gained to use by assisting with a current project.
- Work alongside a Service Engineer and become familiar with the daily requirements of field and office/shop duties.
- Further develop relevant skills in maintaining and troubleshooting of instrumentation & analytical equipment.
- Gain practical experience of communication with vendors and customers through various avenues such as written reports, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Build on technical writing skills for purpose of clear communication and project reference documentation.
- Accompany a Service Engineer in the field for hands-on field service duties.
- Spend ample time on the production floor becoming familiar with the assembly portion of a current project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (imminent) in Instrumentation Engineering Technology or Equivalent.

- Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
