JOB SUMMARY
The Client Support Specialist supports both the Lending and Housing teams within the Community Economic Development (CED) division. This role is client-focused, ensuring that individuals and families receive accurate information, timely service, and proactive support. In addition, the position provides essential office administration for the CED management team, contributing to efficient operations and smooth internal coordination. The Specialist maintains information, completes transactions, oversees day-to-day servicing functions, and assists with compliance, financial tracking, and reporting. They possess broad knowledge of CED processes and play a key role in ensuring a positive client experience while supporting organizational goals.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a related area of study, or four years of relevant employment experience required.
- Effective Time Management and Prioritization. Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Ability to work across departments and throughout the organization, developing and maintaining relationships
- Ability to empathize with clients and staff while still enforcing organizational rules and policies. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Must have intermediate math skills, including an understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- When driving for Brightpoint, the employee must have a valid Indiana driver's license and must maintain minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 on auto insurance.
