Shifts: Days 6-2:30 am / PM 2:00 pm - 10:30pm / Nights 10:00 pm -6:30 am
½ shifts: 6:00 am – 10:00 am / 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm
½ shift times can be flexible
Pool Requirements: Must work 32 hours per month with 16 of the hours worked on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and 8 holiday hours per year.

Primary Shift Responsibilities: This position is responsible for providing direct care services to residents assisting with personal cares, medication, basic meal preparation, serving and is responsible for dining room clean up, laundry and housekeeping services, and leading and assisting with resident engagement activities.
Having a C.N.A. certification is very helpful, but if you don't have C.N.A. certification that is okay. We will provide training and help with assisted living certification for those who possess the skills and attributes we are looking for to join our team.
Resident Assistant Duties Include:
- Personal Care: Feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, walking and transferring.
- Responsible for providing timely treatments and medication administration under delegation of an RN.
- Participate in customizing resident service plans.
- Monitor resident condition and address change of condition.
- Food service including basic food preparation and serving, dishes, laundry, housekeeping.
- Work in collaboration with residents/family members, coworkers, and other healthcare providers.
- Responsible for timely and accurate charting in the medical record.
- Represent the St. Joseph Residence organization in a professional, customer service-oriented manner.
- Participate in team meetings, performance improvement projects, and ongoing education.
Requirements
- State Required Certification Courses: Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication Administration (if passing medication)
- 16 yr / 17 yr are eligible for this position but must be enrolled in a CNA class.
- If you are willing to take courses, we will assist you in enrolling in the courses, and you can work while completing the courses.
- Availability to work every other weekend and alternating holiday schedule.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, have reliable attendance, and a good work ethic.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Collaboration: Interpersonal skills and the ability to work and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
- Professional Representation: Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver exceptional customer service while representing the St. Joseph Residence organization and communities.
