Assistant Front services manager – Valet
JOB FOCUS:
Focus is on, but not limited to the following:
· Oversees the operation of the Valet department to achieve the highest level of guest service and efficiency.
· Performs all duties in accordance with SAHARA Las Vegas standard operating procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and departmental SOPs
· Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures
· Supporting company and hotel policies and procedures including the promoting and participation in Employee Engagement, Health and Safety, and Guest Service initiatives
· Maintains knowledge off all property events and projects and responsible for effectively communicating the information to allow for proper planning.
· Conduct pre-shifts and ensure Valet employees are informed of all current information
· Ensure all workstations are fully stocked by conducting inventory checks
· Ensure day-to-day Valet operations are running efficiently, this includes staffing levels and upholding associates to the highest level of service standards, productivity and ensuring a clear flow of traffic.
· Supervises all Valet employees, maintains proper employee/employer relations, recognition, evaluating performance and administering discipline
· Responsible for the efficiency of labor scheduling while maintaining labor costs and all departmental expenses
· Provides exceptional, courteous, friendly service to guests and associates that differentiates us from the competition
· Presents a clean, neat and well-groomed appearance
· Assists with other related job duties as assigned
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of Valet operations in a similar resort setting
· One to Two (1-2) or more years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in a similar resort setting
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required
· Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal forms
· A professional demeanor and attire is to be maintained at all times
· Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
· Ability to working independently with little to no supervision
· Must be able to perform in a team environment
· Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership
· Previous experience in a high-end luxury Gaming or Hospitality environment is desired
· Must have exceptional time management skills
· An intermediate to proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred
· Able to operate all types of vehicles with both automatic or manual transmissions while adhering to all health and safety measures
· A valid NV Driver’s License is required and must be obtained before entering this position
· A valid Alcohol Awareness Card is required and must be obtained before entering this position
· Must be 21 years of age or older
