Job Description

JOB TITLE: Pre Arrival Specialist

DEPT: Home Health

LOCATION: MRMC - Columbia, TN

SHIFT: PRN, as needed. Day Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring insurance eligibility for services has been obtained, initial authorization for services has been secured and the patient has been contacted regarding any out of pocket expenses. The position will also monitor ongoing eligibility checks and assist with ongoing authorizations as needed. Must be independent and detail oriented.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· 1 Year of Insurance Billing ExperienceRequired

· 1 Year of Home Health Care ExperiencePreferred
