Job Description

Starting Wage: $18.00 hour



 



The Graveyard Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Three Rivers Casino by completing various cleaning tasks.  



 



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Responds to immediate requests for clean up on the Casino floor regarding spills or hazardous materials.

  • Cleans and sanitizes restrooms while maintaining restroom supplies ensuring no items run out.

  • Assists Beverage Servers in the removal of beverage containers on the Gaming Floor.

  • Dusts mechanical devices, tables, counters and other miscellaneous surfaces. Disinfects commonly used areas such as gaming machines, ATMS, chairs, door handles, and in-between machines.

  • Responsible for vacuuming carpets and sweeping and mopping floors throughout the Casino.

  • Steam cleans carpets in all areas as requested by management.

  • Empties and cleans trash cans inside the Casino.

  • Monitors the cleanliness of Casino offices and Team Member areas including the Team Member Dining Room.

  • Responsible for assisting with deep cleaning of the back of house kitchen areas as requested by management.

  • Uses all cleaning equipment in a safe manner and reports any issues or hazards to Team Leader as soon as possible.

  • Performs minor repairs on machinery, equipment and tools.

  • Other duties as directed by management.



 



WORK ENVIRONMENT



While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor.   The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
