Description

Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR department's daily operations by coordinating and executing key processes and initiatives. This role assists with HRIS management, employee recordkeeping, onboarding, payroll and benefits support, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent employee support.


Reports to: Director of Human Resources

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in administering company policies, responding to employee inquiries, and promoting company standards 
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HRIS 
  • Monitor employee licenses, certifications, and required credentials 
  • Maintain employee training records and support training program coordination 
  • Ensure all HR, training, and compliance documentation is complete and up to date 
  • Support compliance initiatives, including ACA tracking, OSHA recordkeeping, and audit preparation 
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure accuracy and compliance 
  • Prepare and distribute HR communications, including announcements, reminders, and compliance notices 
  • Maintain company directory and required workplace postings (e.g., labor law posters) 
  • Assist with company events, employee programs, and engagement initiatives 
  • Manage company apparel and wearable inventory, including inventory and distribution 
  • Perform general administrative duties, including document management, scanning, and filing 
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment processes 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Human Resources experience
