Job Summary

Under the supervision of an administrator and general direction of a classroom teacher, assists the teacher in the education of students including management of student behavior; recordkeeping; instructional assistance; classroom safety, security and organization; and interaction and communication with students, support staff, parents/guardians, and agencies.

Salary Info

Starting salary is $23.81 (25/26) hour with 5 annual incremental increases to $30.43 plus benefits up to $1,169.58 per month for single health coverage, $1,844.58/2-party, $2,044.58/family (medical, dental, life, and vision). TSA options available.

An eligibility list is being established for the Para Educator, Mild/Moderate Needs position, candidates on the eligibility list will be considered for full-time, part-time, or limited-term positions while the list is active.

We are currently hiring for the upcoming 26/27 School Year
• School Sites:
• Cyril Spinelli Elementary School – Antelope, CA
• Palmiter Jr/Sr High School – Sacramento, CA

• Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Cyril Spinelli - 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Palmiter – 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Examination Process
Qualified candidates will be invited to complete remotely administered examinations, requiring a computer, webcam, and microphone.
