Description

Hinckley Yachts is looking for an impactful new member in our finance team; In this high-impact role, you’ll work closely with the Director of FP&A and Operations to build a best-in-class planning function. You’ll create budgets and forecasts, analyze performance, and deliver insights that boost profitability and efficiency. You’ll also support the financial integration of newly acquired shipyards and marinas—perfect for someone who loves data, collaboration, and shaping scalable processes in a fast-growth environment.


What You’ll Do as an FP&A Analyst

Deliver Actionable Financial Insights

  • Produce monthly reporting and variance analysis that clearly explains performance drivers.
  • Identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities to improve financial and      operational results.
  • Develop meaningful KPIs to help leaders measure what matters.

Partner Closely With Operations

  • Provide data-backed guidance on pricing, labor productivity, capacity utilization,     and margin improvement.
  • Support investment decisions with ROI, payback, and scenario modeling across      business units.

Turn Data Into Value

  • Build dashboards, models, and analytics that enhance visibility and accelerate      decision-making.
  • Improve data integrity, streamline reporting, and automate where possible.
  • Help shift FP&A from backward-looking to predictive, forward-focused      analysis.

Lead Forecasting & Budget Support

  • Assist with preparation of annual budgets across multiple locations.
  • Maintain rolling forecasts using driver-based models to improve accuracy and      highlight risks/opportunities.

Strengthen FP&A Processes

  • Develop scalable tools, reporting structures, and financial processes for a      growing organization.
  • Continuously      improve accuracy, efficiency, and usability of financial reports.

Support M&A Integration

  • Help onboard newly acquired locations into FP&A processes, systems, and      reporting.
  • Standardize KPIs, budget models, and reporting across acquisitions.
  • Assist in performance tracking and synergy analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, public accounting, or similar analytical role.
  • Exposure to M&A or post-acquisition integration is a plus.
