Patient is a 25-year-old male with complex medical needs, requiring 24/7 skilled nursing care. He is ventilator- and tracheostomy-dependent and has a diagnosis of paraplegia and Campomelic Dysplasia. He utilizes a gastrostomy tube (G-tube) for nutrition but is also able to consume some foods orally. The patient has scoliosis accompanied by frequent and sometimes severe muscle spasms. As part of his daily routine, he requires straight catheterization. Despite his physical limitations, he is fully alert, communicative, and enjoys meaningful conversation. He values his independence and autonomy, and care is focused on supporting his well-being with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Shifts Avail:
• Days: Every other Sunday 8am – 7pm and Saturday 8am-7pm
• Overnights: Thursday, every other Saturday and Sunday 7pm - 7am:
Requirement:
Current New York State RN or LPN Nursing License
Experience with Tracheostomy and ventilator care.
