SteelCell is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician Technician to join our GLO production line. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. You’ll work closely with maintenance and production teams to support continuous improvement and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to safety codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues on production machinery and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations
- Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records
- Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing electrical role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, and controls
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
