Position Specific Description


 

The EVHome Representative supports the FPL EVolution Home program by managing customer cases, communications, and operational workflows related to EV charging services. This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing enrollments, coordinating service requests, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. Key responsibilities include managing cases and work orders in Salesforce, responding to customer emails and phone calls, and assisting with escalated concerns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

In addition, the representative reviews enrollment applications, verifies installation requirements, and provides basic technical troubleshooting using internal dashboards to assess charger performance and connectivity. The role also involves coordinating with contractors for installations and service updates, processing operational reports such as disconnects or zero readings, and maintaining accurate documentation. Success in this position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and comfort working with both technical information and customer-facing communication.

Job Overview

Employees in this role provide independent decision making to respond to and resolve complex billing, customer requests, inquiries or complaints using extensive job knowledge and/or experience in corporate procedures and policies. This position emphasizes public relations, effective revenue risk management and provides a variety of information regarding the company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under general supervision:

•   Provides analytical support to internal customers

•   Makes decisions to pay for service recovery up to $250 and assists in claims investigations

•   Handles situations which may require adaptation of response or extensive research

•   Assists supervisor at times with multiple tasks in support of daily operations

•   Provides direction and guidance to less experienced team members

•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•  High School Grad / GED

•  Experience: 2+ years
