BluePearl Pet Hospital in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a full-time Board-Certified Surgeon or individual who is residency-trained in Small Animal Surgery to become a vital part of our dedicated team! This position comes with a competitive sign-on bonus of up to $100,000!

Expertise Across Specialties: Benefit from working alongside board-certified clinicians in various specialties, including anesthesiology, cardiology, clinical pathology, dentistry & oral surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency & critical care, holistic medicine & acupuncture, internal medicine, neurology/neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, radiation oncology, and surgery. 

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in soft tissue and/or orthopedic surgical procedures

  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication skills with clients and referring veterinarians

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree

  • Board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist

  • Eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania
