OBJECTIVE:
Amplify Association Management (Amplify) is an association management company (AMC) that specializes in full-service management for non-profit professional and trade associations. We become a strategic partner to our clients to elevate the impact of their mission, members and industry.
The Event Coordinator will join a motivated team of account executives, meeting professionals, marketing director, and program managers to improve partner outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills to help deliver successful meetings and events.
This individual will provide event support across multiple Amplify clients and internal meetings, assisting with logistics, scheduling, and on-site execution. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to contribute to the success of Amplify and its clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate event logistics, including room setup, food and beverage, audio visual support, registration, and materials.
- Independently manage assigned aspects of events from start to finish, coordinating with team members as needed.
- Support speaker, sponsor, and volunteer coordination.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure smooth event execution.
- Assist with tradeshows, including inventory management, shipping, and on-site setup.
- Support event marketing and communications, including proofing materials
- Track event budgets, registrations, and maintain client files.
- Provide day-of support to ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations.
- Perform day-to-day administrative duties and event preparation tasks that support office operations, efficiency, and overall event success.

TRAVEL
This position requires some travel. Travel will generally be regional and national requiring some nights and weekends.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree (BA or BS) preferred, with a focus in event management, hospitality, or a related field. One to three years of experience in event coordination, meeting planning, or a related role.
