POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Server Department: Food & Beverage
Salary Range: $12.15 Reports to: Food & Beverage Director
Employment Status: Seasonal FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY
The incumbent will provide excellent service to guests by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, addressing customer needs, and helping create a positive dining experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
- Greet guests in a polite, positive manner and create an atmosphere of hospitality.
- Take food and drink orders accurately.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Promote menu items and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Possess a working knowledge of all food, beverage, and specials on offer for our guests.
- Responsible for overall guest satisfaction and assist guests in their dining experience.
- Check on guests periodically to ensure all needs are met to their satisfaction.
- Required to accurately input orders through our POS system and confirm accuracy.
- Work closely with colleagues to relay pertinent information and function efficiently as a team.
- Must work efficiently and in a timely manner even during times of increased business.
- Understand and work efficiently in the layout and processes of the restaurant.
- Responsible for handling cash transactions and maintaining proper reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness and health code standards of the restaurant.
- Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
