Pay Range: $65K - $75K
About the Role
As our HR Generalist, you’ll manage the daily functions of the HR department and serve as a trusted partner to employees and leadership. You’ll support the full employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, performance management, development, wellness, safety, and compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a site HR partner to administer and support HR programs including onboarding, benefits, leave management, performance management, and employee relations
- Participate in interviews and assist in hiring qualified candidates to meet staffing needs
- Support an engaging and smooth onboarding process that sets employees up for success
- Assist leadership in resolving employee concerns or conflicts and escalate sensitive issues to the HR Manager as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and organized employee records within the HRIS; ensure timely updates and proper electronic documentation
- Monitor employee time and attendance, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with policy
- Prepare and process weekly payroll and compile necessary reporting
- Respond to employee, supervisor, and applicant inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll
- Assist with the design and delivery of training programs that support compliance, skill development, and employee growth
- Oversee the performance review process to ensure timely completion and alignment with company policy
- Track and document compliance with required and optional training
- Support and promote corporate wellness initiatives that encourage healthy lifestyle choices
- Enforce safety policies, identify potential hazards, and partner with leadership on corrective actions
- Maintain strict confidentiality and develop trusted relationships across the organization
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and recommended HR best practices
