from entrance to the appropriate care area.

contact information, emergency contacts, and guarantor details with
    meticulous attention to detail.

  • Verify insurance
eligibility and benefits in real time using eligibility tools and payer
websites; obtain and document authorizations when required.

  • Explain financial
responsibility, co-payments, and consent forms in a courteous,
understandable manner; collect co-pays and deposits according to hospital
    policy.

  • Secure required
signatures for consent to treat, financial responsibility, HIPAA, and
other regulatory forms while preserving patient dignity and privacy.

  • Prepare and print ID
bands, labels, and face sheets; ensure correct patient identification and
    labeling for all encounters.

  • Answer phones and
in-person inquiries at the entrance desk, providing clear directions,
information, and reassurance; escalate clinical concerns to
    nursing/medical staff immediately.

  • Maintain a serene,
orderly, and secure entrance and waiting area, monitoring for safety
issues and following hospital security protocols.

  • Document all
first-responder care provided and communicate interventions and
observations to nursing and medical staff in a precise, timely manner.

  • Uphold all HIPAA,
EMTALA, and hospital policies, modeling professional discretion and
    respect in every interaction.

    EMT/Paramedic scope.

  • Service
excellence and hospitality, creating a welcoming, elegant, and calm
    environment for patients and families.

  • High-level
professionalism, emotional intelligence, and resilience in the face of
    trauma, grief, and crisis.

  • Accuracy
and efficiency in registration, documentation, and insurance verification
    to support timely, reimbursable care.
