Are you passionate about mental health and looking for a meaningful career where you can make a real impact? Residential Care Specialists work under the supervision of the Residential Site Manager and provide support to individuals living in a 24/7 community residential program who have mental health, substance use, or co-occurring diagnoses. They help residents learn and practice daily living skills and support them as they work toward becoming more independent.
Responsibilities include helping residents connect with community resources, providing transportation when needed, and making sure medications are taken as prescribed. Staff also monitor and document residents’ progress according to program guidelines and timelines, so basic computer skills and detailed documentation are required. holidays.
The Residential Care Specialist will be supervised by the Site Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED; required
- Valid GA driver’s license with less than 5 points.
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain CPR Certification.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions (may be corrected with glasses or contact lenses). The position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching.
