Job Description

Why This Role

Glass House Brands is the largest greenhouse cannabis cultivator in the United States, operating a 5.5 million square foot facility on the Oxnard Plain and publicly listed on the NEO Exchange. The company is at a genuine inflection point — navigating federal rescheduling, expanding into institutional healthcare supply channels, and scaling operations with an industry-leading cost structure.

Position Summary

The Senior Executive Assistant to the President is a highly trusted partner who operates as an extension of the President, ensuring priorities are aligned, time is optimized, and key initiatives move forward seamlessly.

This role requires strong judgment, business awareness, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The right person brings structure to complexity, maintains focus on what matters most, and builds strong relationships across the organization to drive execution.

Based in Camarillo, this role supports the President across all areas of the business — including regulatory affairs, corporate governance, investor relations, and field operations — and requires a high level of presence, adaptability, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Partnership

Serve as a strategic partner to the President, helping manage priorities, timing, and focus across competing demands

Maintain a clear understanding of business priorities to ensure alignment across meetings, communications, and decisions

Anticipate needs, identify gaps, and step in to solve problems before they escalate

Calendar & Priority Management

Own and manage a highly complex calendar, making thoughtful decisions that balance urgency, impact, and business needs

Prepare for meetings with the right context, materials, and follow-ups

Communication & Alignment

      Manage and prioritize incoming communications

Act as a connector across teams to ensure alignment and follow-through on key priorities

Execution & Follow-Through

Track key initiatives, action items, and deliverables to ensure consistent follow-through

Drive accountability across teams by following up on commitments and timelines

Support execution of high-priority projects and company initiatives

Operational Support

Coordinate complex travel and logistics, adapting quickly when plans change

Manage expenses, approvals, and administrative processes with accuracy and efficiency

Maintain organization of critical documents and information

On-Site Partnership

Stay closely connected to on-site operations and cross-functional teams to understand day-to-day priorities

Provide hands-on support when needed to ensure alignment between leadership and execution

Confidentiality & Judgment

Handle highly sensitive information — regulatory, financial, legal, and personnel — with discretion and professionalism

Use sound judgment in decision making, prioritization, and escalation

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of experience supporting senior executives; C-suite experience strongly preferred

Proven ability to operate as a true partner, not just an executor

Strong business judgment and ability to prioritize effectively under pressure

      Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills

Clear, concise communication skills — written and verbal

High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity

Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working independently

Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization

Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, and collaboration/project management tools

Comfortable operating in a regulated, compliance-heavy environment

 Preferred

Experience supporting an executive at a publicly listed company; familiarity with board communications and investor relations workflows

Experience in cannabis, agriculture, pharma, biotech, or another highly regulated industry

Cannabis industry familiarity or comfort is a plus; candidates must be fully comfortable with the nature of the business

Experience in a high-growth or operationally complex environment

Bilingual English/Spanish a positive but not a requirement

Work Environment & Travel

This role is based in Camarillo, CA and requires regular on-site presence across office and operational environments.
