This is a leadership role for reliable, professional teachers who take pride in running a structured classroom.

We are selective—because consistency, accountability, and engagement matter in our program.

If you’re looking for an easy or low-expectation environment, this is not the right fit.

The Opportunity

We are currently hiring full-time Lead Teachers for:
  • PreK (up to 20 students, 2 staff)
  • Wobbler (young toddler classroom, up to 14 students, 2 staff)
  • Float Teacher (supporting classrooms with leadership and consistency)
You will be trusted to run your classroom with structure, intention, and professionalism—while being supported by systems that set you up for success.

What Makes Early Advantage Different

We don’t just expect great teaching—we support it.

You’re Not Doing This Alone
  • Full-time Behavioral Support Specialist
    • Helps create and implement behavior plans
    • Supports referrals for additional services
    • Works directly with teachers and families for consistency
  • On-site confidential mental health consultation available for staff support

Curriculum That Actually Helps You Teach
  • We use Frog Street Curriculum—a favorite among our teachers
  • Engaging, structured, and easy to implement
  • Pre-built materials so you’re not reinventing the wheel
  • Smartboards in classrooms to enhance lessons with songs, videos, and interactive learning
You can focus on teaching—not scrambling to create everything from scratch.

Built for Growth (Not Burnout)
  • Dedicated classroom office space
  • Weekly planning time (minimum 1 hour) + additional time during key seasons
  • 2+ hours/month paid professional development
  • Parent Aware coaching (Preschool & PreK)
  • Ongoing Conscious Discipline training and support

A True Team Environment
  • Specials led by other educators (Soccer Shots, SMART, Second Step, etc.)
→ Gives you time to observe, learn, and reset
  • Additional cleaning support
→ So you can focus on children, not just tasks
  • Strong family partnerships
→ Engaged, supportive parents who value what you do
  • Meaningful family events where your work is celebrated

A Program Built on Relationships
  • We partner with incredible, engaged families who value what we do
  • We host events where families join us in the classroom and celebrate learning
  • You’ll have meaningful, positive parent interactions—not just quick handoffs

Early Advantage is a school family—not just a childcare center.
If that kind of environment matters to you, you’ll feel it here.

What This Role Actually Looks Like

  • Lead your classroom with structure, consistency, and intention
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and your team
  • Maintain high standards for safety, supervision, and organization
  • Track and assess development and communicate with families
  • Mentor and lead your classroom team

This is a hands-on leadership role—you are actively engaged and setting the tone every day.

  • You are not comfortable leading a team or being held accountable
  • You are disengaged in the classroom
