The Packing Manager oversees and directs all logistics operations at the Carthage, TN facility. This position is tasked with ensuring the efficient and cost-effective loading, transport, and delivery of goods. Key responsibilities include formulating and executing logistics strategies, supervising logistics personnel, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain to achieve the company's operational objectives and satisfy customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Strategy and Management: Develop and implement logistics strategies to achieve business goals and enhance operational efficiency. Oversee logistics operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Distribution and Delivery: Ensure efficient and timely distribution of products to customers. Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance logistics efficiency. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve service levels, and increase productivity.
- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor the logistics team fostering a culture of high performance and professional development. Ensure the logistics team has the skills and resources necessary to support the company's objectives.
- Transportation Vendor Management: Manage relationships with 3rd party carriers, and truckload logistics providers, including reviewing contracted rates and fees, disputing invoices and tracking repair viability.
- Cross-Functional Support: Work with Customer Experience, Operations, Logistics, and Procurement to optimize 3rd party shipments.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; may accept an associate degree or relevant extensive experience
- Requires 3–8 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
- Certifications in the following are a plus: Certified Transportation Professional (CTP), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) licenses
