Job Description


We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Information System Security Engineer to join in supporting a critical mission in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is essential in a program that delivers a broad array of capabilities, including data management, data delivery, high-intensity cloud architectures, and analytic platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities, and non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Provide comprehensive security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.

  • Design system or network configurations that support multiple enclaves, including those with varying data protection/classification requirements.

  • Recommend system-level solutions to meet security requirements.

  • Support the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.


Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Fourteen (14) years of experience as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level 2.

  • CISSP Certification is required
