Job Description

Join a diverse team of approx. 2000 professionals across four continents, driving innovation and growth within intive’s technology hubs. Work alongside industry experts trusted by leading brands like Audi, BMW, Deichmann, Meta, NewsCorp, Tandem, Paramount, Vorwerk, and Warner Bros. Discovery to create pioneering, sustainable digital experiences.

At intive, agile thinking and deep industry expertise come together across Automotive & Mobility, Commerce, Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Technology, Media & Communication. Be part of a team that’s shaping the future of digital innovation.

What you will be doing:

•    Own end-to-end UX design for features and product areas – contributing hands-on craft alongside operational responsibilities
• Define and implement AI-augmented workflows to automate DesignOps processes, including accessibility audits, documentation, token management, and other repetitive design tasks.
• Drive AI adoption across teams and client projects by introducing new tools, improving AI literacy, running experiments, and supporting AI infrastructure such as automation pipelines, MCP servers, and prompt libraries.
•  Own design system governance – maintain health, versioning, naming conventions and adoption tracking
•  Select, implement and maintain the design tool stack (Figma, prototyping, handoff, documentation)
•  Create and maintain scalable design token systems and theming strategies across design and development environments, ensuring consistency, versioning, and support for multi-brand and multi-mode products.
•  Drive token governance and adoption by establishing naming conventions, integrating token pipelines between Figma and code, supporting teams with onboarding and tooling, and auditing implementation consistency across products.
•  Lead client workshops on DesignOps topics – process optimisation, design system strategy, team scaling, take part in pre-sales activities.
•  Define user testing scenarios, execute usability tests and report actionable results
•  Mentor junior and mid-level designers on both craft quality and efficient ways of working
•  Accurately estimate project design delivery efforts
•  Optimise design workflows end-to-end – from research and ideation through review, handoff and QA

You are a good match if you have:

• 5–8 years of experience in UX/Product Design, with demonstrable DesignOps experience (process design, tooling, design systems)
• Proven Experience with the following tools: Figma, Tokens.Studio, Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrated AI fluency – active use of AI-augmented workflows and ability to evaluate and introduce AI tooling for design teams tools like e.g. like lovable, Claude
• Experience with project management and workflow tools (Jira, Linear, Notion, etc.)
• Strong design craft foundation – able to deliver hands-on design work, not purely operational
•  Proven experience managing design systems – governance, adoption, cross-team coordination
•  Hands-on experience creating and maintaining design token architectures – including Figma Variables, Tokens Studio or equivalent, and token-to-code pipelines
• Solid understanding of design tooling ecosystems (Figma, documentation platforms, handoff tools, automation)
• Technical understanding – comfortable with developer workflows, CI/CD concepts, token pipelines and API-based integrations
