Business Analyst

A Business Analyst in Enrollment Services works in a production environment and will need to provide cross functional team support.

Responsibilities:

• Have a deep understanding of business needs, application functionality, and underlying data processes.
• Build strong relationships to serve as the point of contact for IT developers and business stakeholders.

• Initiate preliminary business requirements, assess needs and implement appropriate solutions. 

• Evaluate business processes by tracking, trending and analyzing work processes. Trouble-shoot and identify root causes and recommend solutions to manager.
• Research incident tickets and email inquiries, answer program and application functionality questions, and identify application defects and data issues. Track timely resolution by IT development team.

• Participate in meetings and sprint planning sessions to ensure technical partners are progressing towards sprint goals and development is on track.

• Assists in training staff or works with trainers to assure new procedures are implemented with minimal work interruptions. 
• Responds to more complex special requests that may include research, investigation, evaluation and documentation of findings.
• Develop work procedure manuals and make updates as needed. 
• Serves as project lead for business developments that have broad impact on processes, procedures and workflows.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
