JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Technology department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Manufacturing Technology Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom/lab experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance.

Teach a range of coursework in process manufacturing and power operations relevant to manufacturing industries. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, advisory council activities, projects, and other department or College activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:   


Minimum of 8 years full-time related occupational experience
OR
approved Journey-worker status
OR
an Associate’s degree in career field and 4 years full-time related occupational experience
OR
a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years full-time related occupational experience required.

Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH)


May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.
A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
Hiring process includes passing a background check.
