The Regional Director of Operations provides both broad-based leadership strategies and specific leadership tactics to skilled care Administrators who operate Company centers. This individual must have proven abilities to attract and nurture the appropriate Skilled Care Center-based leadership which is essential to the Company’s success, and who can effectively lead skilled care center-based Administrators with a diversity of management styles and individual talents.
This position requires both physical and mental fitness and the ability to be available for frequent overnight travel to our Atrium Centers in both Western Wisconsin & Northern Michigan. Must have keen problem-solving abilities and the ability to respect sensitive and confidential information.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides leadership to center-based Administrators to achieve these broad goals:
budget and financial performance
regulatory compliance
continuous improvement in quality of care, service, and customer satisfaction
grow the value of the enterprise both individually (center) and collectively (as a Company)
Develops and implements policies and procedures to achieve Company growth.
Develops and executes strategies to achieve Company goals.
Develops and implements center budgets with the input from the COO, CFO, and Administrators.
Effectively communicates with Administrators regarding organizational issues related to operations.
Proposes new services, programs, and strategies that will position the organization to better achieve its goals.
Provides advisory services to center-based leadership for effective team member utilization.
Works efficiently and cost effectively to utilize the services of outside vendors and professionals to provide optimum value to the organization.
Judiciously participates in professional and trade association activities with the goal of service, professional growth, and organizational enhancement.
Communicates regularly with the COO on both broad and specific issues affecting the operations of the Company.
Functions as a temporary /acting Administrator in the event of a center vacancy.
Leads by example, see the “Big Picture,” and effectively work as both a team leader and a team player to expand the value of the Company.
Makes numerous difficult decisions that will effectively balance the needs of our customers with the needs of our business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in either work experience or educational achievement.
Must be experienced in both individual and multiple center skilled nursing care management.
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing operations, with proven multi-site management experience.
Demonstrated success in operational, clinical, and financial management within a skilled nursing or senior care setting.

Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret budgets, reports, and performance metrics
Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple locations while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information and decision-making
