We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team and contribute to providing top-tier diagnostic imaging services for our inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and emergency department (ED) patients.
Job Responsibilities:
As an Ultrasound Technologist, your duties will include:
- Performing a variety of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to OB/GYN, breast, abdominal, small parts, and vascular exams.
- Providing exceptional patient care in an acute care setting, ensuring accurate imaging results while maintaining patient comfort.
- Assisting with the preparation and positioning of patients for various ultrasound exams.
- Working closely with medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Ensuring all ultrasound equipment is maintained and calibrated according to protocol.
- Documenting exam details and findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registered or eligible.
Experience:
- Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Knowledge and proficiency in performing OB/GYN, breast, abdominal, small parts, and vascular ultrasound exams.
Certifications/Licensure:
- ARDMS certification required or eligibility to sit for the ARDMS exam.
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret ultrasound images accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion when working with diverse patient populations.
