Position Summary

Under the COSMIAC COMPNT contract, candidate will lead initiatives to enhance network communication systems, focusing on
developing resilient architectures that facilitate seamless data exchange among
various subsystems. Her efforts will be pivotal in improving system efficiency
and reliability, incorporating advanced technologies and protocols to optimize
performance and address potential vulnerabilities within complex operational
environments.

Conditions of Employment
  • Professional Engineer (PE) may be required, depending upon field of expertise.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a directly related field; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering or a closely related discipline, to be completed by the date of appointment.
  • Coursework and experience directly related to space systems’ network systems, mechanics, and development of satellites and satellite subsystems.
  • Existing TS/SCI security clearance, or ability to obtain security clearance within 1 year of employment.
  • Strong technical skills including experience with data networking tools and modeling physical and electrical systems, and research
    dissemination mechanisms of federally funded research grants.
