As a Property and Casualty Insurance Business Analyst for the Cross-Functional Digital Team, you will play a key role in defining, evolving, and sustaining the digital solutions that support property and casualty insurance at Desjardins, both today and in the years to come. In a complex and constantly changing environment, you’ll use your judgment, autonomy and ability to influence to make real contributions to the groundwork for the organization’s digital future. You will work on cross-functional digital solutions used daily by millions of members and clients, including the mobile app, digital account management, authentication services, and a number of solutions supporting home and auto coverage, claims, collections and document management. More specifically, you will be required to :
Play a strategic influence in defining the vision and execution of cross-functional digital products.
Identify business opportunities, analyze needs and issues, and formalize clear objectives that create value for the organization.
Clarify the scope of initiatives, recommend key business solutions and assess their organizational impacts.
Co-create solutions with users and multidisciplinary teams, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Make sure solutions are developed with a cross-sector vision and include end-to-end requirement traceability.
Document the digital solutions developed and influence the team’s documentation best practices.
Contribute to the testing strategy, define acceptance criteria and plans, and support solution rollout.
Actively help manage change and seamlessly integrate solutions into the existing digital ecosystem.
Act as a subject-matter expert and advisor to project delivery teams through recognized influence-based leadership.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of six year of relevant experience in business analysis, ideally in the P&C insurance industry or digital solutions
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
Intermediate knowledge of English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Expertise in interdisciplinary collaboration and stakeholder management
Proficiency in process modelling tools and impact analysis techniques
Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence
