Engineering Intern – Ethanol Production Facility

The Engineering Intern will support operations teams at ethanol production facilities by assisting with process improvement initiatives, equipment performance analysis, and capital projects. This internship provides hands-on exposure to industrial operations within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist engineers with data collection, analysis, and documentation related to plant processes and equipment performance
2. Support continuous improvement, reliability, and optimization projects
3. Participate in safety, environmental, and maintenance-related initiatives
4. Prepare reports, drawings, or calculations under the guidance of engineering staff
5. Observe and comply with all plant safety and operational procedures

Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
2. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic engineering software preferred
4. Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
