Regional Accounts Support Representative
The Regional Accounts Support Representative supports the Regional Customer Service team during peak volumes, absences, and changing business needs. This role requires understanding the unique dynamics of 11 customer regions across North America, including freight demand, truck capacity, and customer-specific requirements. The role will also prospect for new business, solicits quotes, and books freight to maximize revenue opportunities.
This role requires adaptability, collaboration across internal teams, and the ability to learn how to navigate diverse customer situations with confidence and professionalism.

What You'll Do
- Step in to fully support Regional Account Representative responsibilities during peak demand, absences, or evolving business needs.
- Deliver outstanding customer service as a trusted liaison between customers, Operations, Credit, and internal ATS teams.
- Accurately enter pricing and load details, communicate pickup/delivery requirements, and partner with Operations to ensure flawless execution.
- Secure credit approvals, verify customer credit status, and arrange C.O.D. loads when necessary.
- Use strong industry, equipment, and market knowledge to research opportunities, confidently quote and book freight, and ensure a high-quality customer experience at market pricing.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively to resolve issues, answer questions, and drive positive outcomes in all situations.
- Balance individual accountability with strong teamwork, contributing to a collaborative, values-driven culture aligned with ATS core competencies.
- Support business needs beyond standard hours as required and assist with additional tasks such as reporting, billing or credit issues, and customer portal updates.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Foundational knowledge of marketing, sales, and customer service, supported by 1–2 years of related education or training.
- Strong understanding of U.S. geography with the ability to read and interpret maps.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management preferred.
- Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet research tools, and digital platforms.
- Results-driven problem solver with solid analytical skills and a metrics-focused mindset.
- Highly resilient, positive, and persistent with the drive to push through challenges and resistance.

HOURS:
The Regional Account Representative opportunity offers work/life balance with a Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM core schedule with an occasional Saturday morning requirement. NOTE-hours could change depending on region or location of your customers in the United States, however amount of hours worked per day would be the same.
Compensation & Benefits
- Total cash compensation range of this position is $45,00 to $65,000+ which includes a base salary range that starts at $42,000 plus training incentive of $500.00 per month for the first 6-months. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
