JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Industrial Technology department is seeking positive, dynamic, student-centered individuals to teach a diverse community of learners the desired skills for today’s workplace. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion, and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance.

Teach coursework in Precision Machining. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance understanding and performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 8 years full-time related occupational experience or approved Journey-worker status
OR
Associate’s degree in career field and 4 years full-time related occupational experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years full-time related occupational experience required.

Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH)


May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.
A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
Hiring process includes passing a background check.
