Job Title:        Manufacturing Engineer

Summary:  Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for maintaining, improving, and streamlining output of production equipment in their areas as well as installing and disposing of equipment.  This is a hands-on Engineering job that requires mechanical aptitude in addition to requiring modern computer skills.

 

Starting Wage:    $80,000 to $100,00

 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  At ANBM, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Provide long term solutions to production issues by using data driven analysis, prototyping, and trial and error analysis
  • Assist with new line equipment installation and equipment removal/disposal
  • Work alongside production technicians, electricians and other various departments to jointly resolve equipment issues
  • Troubleshoot automated production machinery, identify root cause for trouble and repair as necessary
  • Assist in performing high skill machine repairs with other engineers and technicians
  • Communicate with and utilize external vendor services for machine repairs when scope of work is outside of internal capabilities
  • Assist with assigned projects and perform simple design and implementation tasks
  • Understand and modify detailed layouts of equipment
  • Must be able to manage priorities and multi-task efficiently
  • Create training documents for new and revised processes
  • Assist in creating equipment maintenance schedules
  • Train with Type Change (machine setup) group to learn the different processes of line equipment
