Job Description

We are looking for Lube Technicians to join our growing team! The right candidate will have strong mechanical abilities and the desire to learn. The day-to-day duties include performing routine maintenance and repairs for customers..

Pay Range: $17.57 to $30.74

Targeted Hiring Range: $17.57 to $26.73 DOQ

Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and by the dealership

  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

  • Performs routine maintenance and repairs

  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs

  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months to one year of related experience or alternative training
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic environment
  • A teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
