Ventek Solutions is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing team onsite in either Findlay, Ohio or Owosso, Michigan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to customers and internal teams.
The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact for customers while managing orders, coordinating with production, and ensuring a high level of responsiveness and accuracy. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic company experiencing continued expansion. The role is onsite in our plant and is not eligible for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customers
- Process orders accurately and efficiently in ERP systems
- Monitor open orders, shipment schedules, and customer demand changes
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, lead times, and delivery updates
- Coordinate closely with production, scheduling, shipping, and sales teams to meet customer expectations
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, discrepancies, and accounts receivable matters in a timely and professional manner
- Support forecasting activities by reviewing demand trends and customer releases
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and account documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve service levels and internal processes
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of customer service, account coordination, inside sales, or order management experience
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with a sense of urgency
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
