Position Overview

The Administrator
provides strategic and operational leadership for hospital departments and
services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and maintaining a
culture of excellence across patient care, employee engagement, and fiscal
stewardship. This role partners closely with executive leadership and
department directors to advance organizational goals, implement best practices,
and promote continuous performance improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day hospital operations to ensure
    efficiency, quality, and compliance with state and federal healthcare
    regulations (including CIHQ, CMS, and Texas Health & Human Services).

  • Lead administrative planning and policy
    development in alignment with the hospital’s mission and strategic
    objectives.

  • Partner with clinical leadership to optimize
    service delivery, staff productivity, and patient satisfaction outcomes.

  • Manage departmental budgets, financial
    performance metrics, and cost-containment initiatives.

  • Coordinate accreditation readiness, survey
    documentation, and quality improvement processes.

  • Mentor and support department leaders to foster
    professional growth and accountability.

  • Represent the hospital in community outreach,
    professional associations, and inter-facility collaborations.

 



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Respiratory,  Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Active Texas RN licensure (or equivalent medical
    licensure) and minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a
    nursing or medical role (e.g., Nurse Administrator, House Supervisor, or
    clinical director).

  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare compliance,
    including CIHQ accreditation, CMS Conditions of Participation, HIPAA, and
    Texas-specific regulations.

  • Strong financial acumen, strategic planning
    capability, and leadership presence.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and
    decision-making skills.
