Weekend Caregiver

Job Summary

As a Weekend Caregiver with Delta Homecare - Georgia, you will play a vital role in providing non-medical in-home services to our clients in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. Our motto, "Your Home is the Best Medicine," reflects our commitment to supporting our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will provide companionship, light housework, meal assistance, and other essential services to enhance our clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

  • Perform light housework, including sweeping, mopping, and laundry

  • Assist clients with meal preparation and cooking, as well as dishes

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and using the restroom

  • Run weekly errands, such as grocery shopping or banking

  • Provide medication reminders and other necessary care

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a caregiver

  • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)

  • Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

  • Respectful and compassionate attitude

  • Good time management skills

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong ethics and physical endurance
