POSITION PROFILE
The Revenue Manager serves as a core operational and analytical resource within Palisociety's revenue management function. This role directly supports 1–3 properties while providing cross-functional support to the Regional Director and Managing Director of Revenue Management. The Revenue Manager acts as a key point of contact for inquiries from Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Operations, Food & Beverage, and company leadership — bridging day-to-day operational execution with broader portfolio strategy. This is a hands-on role that requires comfort in data-driven analysis, tactical pricing decisions, and transactional processing tasks.

THE TASK AT HAND:
Revenue Strategy & Pricing
- Monitor the competitive set, local events, and market conditions to make real-time adjustments to pricing, inventory, and restrictions across assigned properties.
- Assist in the development and execution of revenue strategies aligned with property-level and portfolio-wide financial targets.
- Ensure rate parity and consistency across all OTA sites, the property website, GDS, and other distribution channels.
- Support the build-out of rate codes and packages in the PMS and CRS, ensuring accuracy and proper loading prior to deployment.
- Perform daily audits of no-shows, cancellation fees, rate changes, and package postings to identify revenue opportunities and maintain data integrity.
Operational & Transactional Responsibilities
- Process travel agent commissions accurately and within established timelines; review and reconcile commission reports on a regular basis.
- Make reservations for VIP guests and high-priority bookings as directed, coordinating with property operations teams to ensure seamless arrivals.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports covering pace, pickup, channel performance, and segment analysis.
- Contribute to forecasting and annual budgeting processes under the direction of the Managing Director of Revenue Management.
- Provide actionable insights and trend analysis across all distribution channels to support pricing and strategy decisions.
- Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests from Sales, Marketing, and company leadership in a timely and accurate manner.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
- Serve as a day-to-day operational resource for the Regional Director and Managing Director of Revenue Management, supporting portfolio-level initiatives and projects.
- Field and resolve revenue-related inquiries from Sales, Marketing, Food & Beverage, Operations, and Accounting teams.
- Communicate rate updates, revenue strategies, and procedural guidance to relevant teams on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align promotional activity with revenue strategy and inventory availability.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers relevant to distribution and reservations systems.
Communication & Organization
- Manage multiple properties, projects, and deadlines with strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders at all levels, from property staff to senior leadership.
- Maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented approach when surfacing issues or opportunities.
- Continuously develop and implement best practices across all areas of responsibility.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong hospitality business acumen with a solid understanding of revenue management fundamentals, including ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and channel mix.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple properties and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to and interfacing with leadership.
- Positive, service-oriented attitude.
- PMS: Experience with Opera, Mews, or StayNTouch preferred.
- RMS: Familiarity with IDeaS or Duetto preferred.
- CRS: Aven (Sabre) SynXis experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power Query or Power Pivot a plus.
- Comfortable adapting to new technologies and systems as business needs evolve.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hotel revenue coordinator or analysis position is required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Minimum two years in similar position.
