Job Description

Home Health Aide 

  • Department:Home Care Home Health Aide
  • Hours: 32 hours per week 
  • Shift: Shift 1

Position Summary

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the care needed by the patient. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development for patient groups served, and provide care appropriate to the age of each patient served. 

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and experience in a patient care environment as either a CNA, EMT or graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program, or third-year BSN student, or second year ADN RN student. Participation in a three to seven week orientation provided by the department as per specifications. Good organization and communication skills. Must relate well to others. Is able to carry out instructions.
