Job Description
St. John Vianney Early Childhood Center is seeking a full time preschool 3s (ages 3-4) lead teacher to join our team. We are seeking someone who has experience working with children in a childcare setting or educational setting. An ideal candidate is someone who will establish a nurturing environment for children, maintain safe learning and play environments, and design developmentally appropriate and engaging activities and learning materials.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lesson/activity planning
2. Perform annual child development assessments
3. Support students with special or individualized needs
4. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
5. Maintain a safe learning and play environment
6. Establish and maintain a nurturing and welcoming rapport with children and families
Candidate Requirements
1. Completed or actively pursuing bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or similar field -or
2. Completed or actively pursuing Child Development Associate (CDA)
3. Experience working with children in a childcare setting or educational setting
4. Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification
5. Excellent communication skills
6.Ability to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week- typically 8:30am-5:30pm.
