We are looking for an L2 Application Support Engineer with strong SQL skills and the ability to understand and debug .NET applications. The role involves supporting production systems, troubleshooting issues, analyzing data, and working closely with development teams to ensure application stability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 production support for .NET-based applications
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues using SQL queries, logs, and application code
- Debug and understand .NET (C#) code to identify root causes
- Perform data analysis, data fixes, and validation in databases
- Monitor application health, job failures, and system alerts
- Work on incident management, RCA, and resolution within SLA
- Collaborate with L3/dev teams for complex issue resolution
- Support release deployments, patch validation, and post-release monitoring
- Maintain documentation for known issues, fixes, and runbooks
- Ensure data integrity and system performance
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, stored procedures, performance tuning)
- Good understanding of .NET (C#, ASP.NET) and ability to debug code
- Experience in application support / production support (L2/L3)
- Knowledge of debugging tools (Visual Studio, logs, monitoring tools)
- Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Understanding of SDLC and release management processes
- Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA)
