The role is ideal for a student pursuing an accounting, finance, or related degree who is interested in gaining practical, real‑world accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities
The Accounting Intern will support the Fixed Assets function and broader accounting team with responsibilities that may include:

  • Assisting with the setup, testing, and implementation of the Fixed Assets module in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including asset groups, depreciation profiles, and posting configurations
  • Participating in system testing to validate depreciation calculations, posting logic, and reporting accuracy
  • Helping prepare, validate, and reconcile fixed asset data for system uploads and ongoing reporting
  • Documenting accounting processes, system workflows, and testing results to support internal controls and audit readiness
  • Collaborating with Accounting, Finance, and IT team members to identify issues, resolve discrepancies, and improve processes

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Junior or Senior preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with large data sets and financial information accurately
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles; coursework in financial accounting required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus but not required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

We are a drug-free workplace and an EEO employer.

Compensation: $20.00 an hour
