Job Description

Job Summary: Operates multiple varieties of forklift vehicles to transport materials to assigned destination.  May load or unload trucks as required.  Operates under specific detailed instructions. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in shipping, receiving, maintaining records, and transporting in warehouse. 



Job Responsibilities:




  • Unload and load delivery trucks. 

  • Verify inventory locations, quantities, size, etc. as needed.

  • Verify/enter all raw material receipts into warehouse inventory program and tag freight as needed.

  • Verify/receive FedEx/UPS shipments into warehouse inventory program and deliver as needed.

  •  Pull and process daily shipments per picking routes.

  •  Prepare all associated paperwork - BOL, packing slip, COA, pallet labels.

  •  Combine/separate product into new pallets.

  • Identify warehouse inventory program issues and work with depts. to get them corrected.

  • Monitor fork-lift fleet for maintenance issues.

  • Locate and pull shipments for transfers to/from White Bluff.

  • Service printing press timely with material to minimize press down times.

  • Transport finished goods to warehouse for shipping or storage in overhead racks.

  • Maintain and accurately document job numbers, counts, weight, destinations, etc.

  • Responsible for compliance with all regulatory, facility food safety, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs) policies and procedures.

  • Must be able to be forklift certified.

  • Operate Forklifts in a safe manner.

  • Assist with mounting plates.

  • Assist in packing line, ex. Help pack product, cut cores/plastic, keep area clean and organized and supplies stocked as needed.
