At our Denver, North Carolina facility, we are seeking a Final Assembler in our Combi department for 1st shift, 6am – 2:30pm.  In exchange for your hard work, you will be compensated with a competitive wage, and benefits. 


Position Summary

Final Assembler is a position that has three (3) levels, A, B, and C. The differentiation and advancement between levels is based on the levels of experience, knowledge, and training of the individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

FINAL ASSEMBLER "C"

  • Needs to understand the HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and how they are related to this position.
  • Must read and interpret production work instructions, production orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and drawings.
  • Must be able to build to the drawings as assigned.
  • Must be proficient in using basic hand tools and power tools. Must be able to package and build pallets.
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner and meet all quality standards. 
  • Must pass HYDAC Criteria within 90 days. 
  • Reports to a Lead or supervisor.

FINAL ASSEMBLER "B"

  • Mid-Level Final Assembly Technician Position.
  • May require 2 to 3 years of machine operating experience. 
  • Have ability to do all of description C and assemble all coolers and package per BOM. 
  • Will use SAP transactions and be able to produce labels for product. 
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field. 
  • Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision of Lead or Supervisor.

FINAL ASSEMBLER "A"

  • Senior Level Final Assembly Technician. 
  • May require at least 4 years of final assembly experience. 
  • Responsibility of all C & B descriptions with complete understanding of all final assembly departments. 
  • Be able to train and have good leadership skills. 
  • Be able to give Red Line approvals, edit drawings to reflect proper build. 
  • Be able to schedule resource planning. 
  • Will also use SAP transactions. 
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field. May lead or direct the work of others.

Skills and Attributes

  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Must pay attention to details. This position requires dexterity and fine motor skills in catching material flaws.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations (add, subtract, and divide).
  • Must be able to independently seek assistance from supervision and/or other departments to perform given tasks.
  • Must be able to stand 8-10 hour days. Lifting up to 25 pounds infrequently.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
