Your role

Data & AI department is looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer who will work in a team responsible for the development of new solutions in Artificial Intelligence area.

You will develop new modules/systems/product concepts, integrating innovative technologies explored and optimized by all GEO departments, to include new algorithms, new features and functions, specifications, prototypes creation and experimental testing/validation.

The position involves working in an international, multi-competence and cross product environment. You are innovative in coming up with new ideas that add value to the customer and constantly challenges the status quo. You strive for a visible, measurable benefit from every action.

A REGULAR DAY AT WORK :

•   Understanding business problems, identify or apply the right AI technology

•  Design, develop and support the implementation of Machine Learning and Deep Learning capabilities

•  Support the technologies/technology modules integration on Smart Appliances, APPs and Cloud Infrastructures to ensure proper interfaces with the existing product architectures and modules

•  Scouting and proposal of new consumer-relevant innovative technologies and solutions

•  Work and collaborate in an international environment with multiple global teams, competence centers and experts, research institutes and universities.

Your Skills

Master's degree (M.Sc.)/ Engineering degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.

 

 

Mandatory skills:

 

We are seeking a mid-level AI Engineer/Data Scientist with hands-on experience designing, prototyping, and deploying Deep Learning solutions, particularly in one or more of the following areas:

•             Computer Vision: CNNs, object detection, image classification, semantic segmentation, and familiarity with modern architectures (e.g., Vision Transformers, YOLO family, foundational vision models).

•             Natural Language Processing & LLMs: experience with transformer-based models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning (LoRA, QLoRA), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI workflows.

•             Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch. Experience with the Hugging Face ecosystem (Transformers, Datasets, PEFT) and familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or vLLM is valued.

•             Understanding of the full ML lifecycle: data preparation, experiment tracking (e.g., MLflow, W&B), model optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation), and deployment.

•             Strong experience with linux based system, docker container and webservices framework (e.g. FastAPI). Knowledge of service deployment in the cloud with AWS and Kubernetes environment is considered a plus.

•             Experience with model deployment on edge/embedded platforms (e.g., ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, OpenVINO) or cloud environments is a strong plus.

•             Familiarity with git and CI/CD pipelines (i.e. CircleCI, github action).

•             Good communication in English, both written and spoken.
