The Blue Porch – To Go Server
The To Go Service Team Member is responsible for all of the duties required in the limited service To Go area of the Front of House. The To Go Team Member is focused on creating a great service experience for To Go guests through customer interaction and great salesmanship and fast, accurate delivery of orders. The To Go Team Member processes orders through the Point of Sale (POS) system, runs assembled orders from the Back of House, adds beverages to the order and delivers complete orders to the guest. The To Go Team Member clears and cleans the To Go section as needed to create a clean, inviting environment.
Essential Duties
- Treats all guests and teammates with Uncommon Hospitality ensuring every guest has a great experience
- Takes online, call-in and in-person food and drink orders following established restaurant procedures and practices and using the POS system
- Runs assembled food orders from the Back of House and delivers to guests
- Prepares non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and adds to assembled orders
- Clears and cleans tables and table areas in the To Go section quickly between guests
- Keeps supplies in To Go dining area and counter area stocked and ready for guest and employee use
- Resolves guest issues with Uncommon Hospitality, partnering with the Management team as needed
- Processes payments following established restaurant procedures and practices
- Strictly follows all federal and state mandated liquor laws by monitoring the number of alcoholic beverages each guest orders and ensuring they aren’t over-served
- Trains new To Go Team Members as directed by leadership team
- Other duties as assigned
