We’re hiring a Remote Email Marketing Assistant to help execute and optimize email programs that reach residents, prospects, and partners.
Role Overview
As our Remote Email Marketing Assistant, you’ll support the creation, deployment, and reporting of email campaigns across our property portfolio. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to build emails, manage lists, and ensure messages are accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time. This role is ideal if you’re detail-oriented, enjoy data, and want hands-on experience in email marketing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Execution: Build and schedule emails in our ESP using templates, copy, and assets provided by the team. QA for links, formatting, and personalization before send
2. List Management: Maintain audience segments, suppressions, and contact hygiene to ensure deliverability and compliance
3. Content Support: Assist with drafting subject lines, preheaders, and short copy blocks. Coordinate with design and property teams for images and updates
4. Performance Reporting: Pull weekly/monthly campaign metrics, compile results, and flag trends for the marketing team
5. Automation Support: Help set up and monitor basic email automations for welcome series, renewals, and event reminders
6. Compliance: Ensure all campaigns follow CAN-SPAM guidelines and Yes Communities’ brand standards
What We’re Looking For
- 0 to 1+ year of experience with email marketing, marketing coordination, or digital communications
- Hands-on experience with an ESP like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors in copy, links, and formatting
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and pulling data from reports
- Strong written communication skills and ability to follow brand voice guidelines
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines independently
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace for remote work
