About the Role 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organizeAsset Servicing Associate to support our funding and portfolio servicing operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely funding disbursements, maintaining merchant account records, and supporting day-to-day operational processes.

What You’ll Do 

Funding Operations & Disbursement Processing 

  • Process funding approvals and verify documentation prior to disbursement  
  • Execute ACH and wire transactions to fund approved merchants  
  • Ensure all approvals and compliance requirements are met before releasing funds  
  • Maintain strict adherence to internal funding procedures  

Account Monitoring & Payment Tracking 

  • Record payments, adjustments, and schedule modifications  
  • Monitor merchant account activity for accuracy and consistency  
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues  

Operational Support & Bookkeeping 

  • Perform daily and weekly bookkeeping tasks  
  • Maintain accurate records of funding and payment activity  
  • Assist with reconciliation of transactions and financial records  

Merchant & Internal Support 

  • Respond to merchant inquiries and provide account-level support  
  • Collaborate with internal teams by sharing relevant account information  
  • Maintain professional and clear communication across stakeholders  

Documentation & Process Management 

  • Maintain organized merchant records across systems  
  • Document account activity thoroughly within internal tools  
  • Support process improvements and operational initiatives  

 

What We’re Looking For 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)  
  • Experience in financial services, lending operations, or fintech preferred  
  • Familiarity with funding processes, payment systems, or financial operations is a plus  

Technical Skills 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite  
  • Experience with ACH and wire payment processing  
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) preferred  
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial and operational records
