SUPERVISES:                        None

GENERAL FUNCTION:        Performs culinary, counter and sanitation services in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. Acts as a cook and as a cashier when cooking and transacting food and drink.

DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES:

• Provides excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients through greetings in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Maintains cleanliness of guest areas at all times including but not limited to removing dirty dishes and other service utensils.
• Inputs and controls ordering through register during each transaction maintaining accountability as well as receipts to guests for all food served.
• Follows basic recipe specifications in manual for set-up and cold preparations, maintains high quality and consistency.
• Maintains a high-quality environment while continuously labeling and rotating foods.
• Sets stations for service and maintains by cleaning and keeping them properly stocked.
• General sanitation including sweeping, mopping and wiping down of all kitchen areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen equipment according to the manual and returns all equipment to proper place.
• Performs opening and closing duties per departmental and casino policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as necessary and assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Eighteen (18) years of age.

OTHER:

Must obtain non-gaming license upon hire. Ability to handle diverse situations and/or people. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent guest service skills. Flexible availability; able to work any shifts including occasional short notice shifts. Excellent computer literacy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach and lift up to thirty (30) pounds or more. Ability to carry up to twenty (20) pounds on a continual basis. Standing or walking for extended periods of time. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature and air quality. Potential hazards may include but not limited to: slipping and tripping.
